Tyreke Evans: I don't see our team any different from the Warriors

Tyreke Evans can’t wait to start next season with the Pelicans. New Orleans parted ways with Monty Williams and hired Alvin Gentry as head coach.

Genty won the NBA title with the Warriors as assistant coach of Steve Kerr. And Tyreke Evans doesn’t see too many differences between the Pelicans and the Warriors.

Per Sporting News, "I don't see why we can't do it," Evans said to Sporting News' Adi Joseph. "We have a great team.
"I don't see our team any different from the Warriors. I think we're right there, even though this is going to be our first year with coach (Alvin) Gentry. If we push each other and work hard, we can make that next step. It's not going to be easy, but I think we have that chance."
